I decided to do the math for Brutal Black Dragons because they're the most viable dragon to use a Blowpipe on (You don't use an anti-fire shield against them either way), and because they have a very high defense level, which favors using a more accurate weapon (Like a crossbow), so I figured if the Dragon Hunter Crossbow can't beat out the blowpipe here, it's not going to beat it out anywhere else (but if there's something specific you want me to check just let me know). It felt like a nice improvement over using ACB at both of these places (As it should be, it's only 5 ranged accuracy less and gives +10% Accuracy and Damage against dragons), but I was curious if it was actually even better than just using a toxic blowpipe, so I did the math for both using maxed gear (Other than the ammo I guess). I bought a Dragon Hunter Crossbow the other day to use at KBD (I want the pet) and later on a decided to test it out at Brutal Black Dragon's while I wanted something a bit more AFK to do. TL DR: Toxic Blowpipe with Adamant darts is higher DPS, even against Dragons, than the Dragon Hunter Crossbow+Twisted Buckler with Runite bolts, but it's still more profitable to use the crossbow.
